Caring Connections: Bullying & Cyberbullying Prevention at LESD
At Lamont Elementary School District (LESD), we are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment where all students and staff can thrive. As part of our mission to develop students who embody the LESD Learner Profile, we take a firm stand against bullying, cyberbullying, discrimination, harassment, and intimidation in all forms.
Bullying and cyberbullying conflict with the values at the core of our Learner Profile:
Empathetic Collaborators who listen with compassion and honor diverse perspectives
Innovative Problem Solvers who seek positive, creative solutions
Resilient Learners who show confidence, optimism, and growth through challenges
Responsive Community Members who take meaningful action to build a better world
Effective Communicators who speak and listen with respect, even across differences
These are not just ideals — they are expectations.
LESD prohibits any conduct that compromises the safety or well-being of students, staff, or families. We also prohibit retaliation against anyone who files a report or participates in the complaint process.
For more information, please refer to our Board Policies and Administrative Regulations that guide our district’s commitment to student safety and anti-bullying practices.
